Junior Football Organisers Course

oung people have a huge contribution to make in leading, officiating and administrating football. The Football Association Junior Football Organisers course has been established to support the development of grass roots football initiatives for school aged children at a local level. To support this initiative the The FAFootball Association has developed a Junior Football Organiser resource pack and a tutor training course.

The FA JFO course is a training scheme designed to give young people aged 14-18 years skills in leading groups through safe football related activities. It is the first step in a young person moving onto an F.A. coach education, refereeing or administration course. The aim of the programme is to encourage participants to take responsibility for both boys and girls aged 6-11, organizing football related activities such as F.A. TOP Sport Football sessions and Mini-Soccer Festivals and games. Above all, it assists the young football leaders to grow in confidence in leading and organising football activities for small groups, and perhaps introduce some young boys and girls to football for the very first time.

This course is a training scheme designed to give young people aged between 14-18 years skills in leading safe football related activities. It is the first step for a young person to move onto the FA coaching ladder and will cover planning/organising sessions for 6-11 year old children. Refereeing mini soccer games organising and administering a festival for young children.

The Academy of Sport East London course is tutored by qualified a FA Coach from The London FA.
